NDIS Support at Find Sanctuary

Capacity building and psychosocial support that meets you where you are

Using NDIS funding can be confusing, especially when you’re already feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure what kind of support will actually help.

At Find Sanctuary, we provide NDIS support that focuses on building skills, confidence, and day-to-day capacity in a way that feels respectful, collaborative, and manageable - not rushed or overwhelming.

Our work is grounded in trauma-informed, neuro-affirming care and shaped around your goals, your pace, and what matters most in your everyday life.

Is this NDIS support for me?

NDIS support at Find Sanctuary is for people who want help with the emotional, social, or practical challenges of everyday life, rather than intensive clinical treatment.

Many of the participants we support are capable, insightful, and trying their best - but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted by daily demands.

You might find this support helpful if you:

  • struggle with emotional regulation, anxiety, or overwhelm
  • find routines, organisation, or daily tasks difficult to manage
  • feel socially isolated or unsure how to build confidence in community settings
  • are neurodivergent and feel traditional therapy hasn’t quite fit
  • want practical, supportive help that aligns with your NDIS goals

NDIS support here is collaborative and paced, focusing on building skills and capacity over time — not pushing you beyond what feels safe or manageable.

What does NDIS support look like here?

NDIS support at Find Sanctuary focuses on building practical skills, emotional capacity, and confidence to support everyday life and participation.

Sessions are tailored to your individual goals and needs, and may include support with:

  • emotional regulation and distress tolerance
  • developing routines, organisation, and executive functioning skills
  • building social confidence and communication skills
  • increasing comfort and participation in community settings
  • strengthening identity, self-esteem, and self-understanding
  • trauma-informed stabilisation and coping strategies

Support is collaborative and paced, with an emphasis on what is meaningful and useful for you in your day-to-day life. We work alongside you to build skills gradually, recognising that progress looks different for everyone.

NDIS support here is not about pushing, fixing, or pathologising. It is about supporting capacity, independence, and participation in ways that feel respectful, achievable, and aligned with your NDIS goals.

We currently support plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants.

Referrals are welcome from participants themselves, families, Support Coordinators, and other allied health professionals. Support can be aligned with existing NDIS goals, or used to help clarify and build towards future goals.

Who provides NDIS support at Find Sanctuary?

NDIS support at Find Sanctuary is provided by Aleayah Chiffey, a qualified Social Worker who offers trauma-informed, neuro-affirming capacity-building and psychosocial support.

Aleayah works with teens (16+) and adults, and supports many participants who are neurodivergent, living with psychosocial disability, or who find traditional therapy difficult or overwhelming.

Her approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. Sessions focus on building emotional regulation, practical skills, and confidence over time, while respecting each participant’s pace, capacity, and goals.

Aleayah works alongside participants, families, and support teams where helpful, to ensure support is aligned and meaningful.
